Environmental Sustainability

Raphe Pharmaceutique Laboratories is committed to reducing our impact on the environment. Our environmental sustainability priorities are focused on the five areas we have determined are most material to our business and stakeholders: Climate change and CO2 emissions, plastics and packaging, waste and recycling, water efficiency and responsible sourcing.

Three Step Sustainability Strategy

Our sustainability strategy has 3 components, each with their own set of goals and programs. ​​​​​​

Sustainable Operations

Focuses on renewable energy and ongoing reduction of CO2 emissions, energy, water and waste within facilities under our operational control. 

Sustainable Packaging

Focuses on the recyclability and use of recycled content of our packaging, package material reduction and efficient design, and the removal of problematic materials, such as PVC. 

Sustainable Supply Chain

We set goals to on source 100% certified sustainable palm Oil, sustainably certified wood fibers and maintain goals and requirements in key areas of our supply chain.

Global Climate Change and Warming

Carbon emissions and climate change continue to be one of human kind’s greatest concerns, and reducing our climate footprint is a key component of our sustainability strategy. In support of this committment, we have:

  • Reduced scope 1 and 2 emissions by 23.5% within our own operations since 2015

  • Voluntarily commit and disclose to the CDP, TCFD. Project Gigaton and goal 13 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals

  • Set a goal for 100% renewable electricity by 2026
